Sneaky Sound System + Azari & III + KiNK

We like Sneaky Sound System's new single. It mixes a sunny 80s synth disco feel with more of retro electro rhythms. And more importantly it's just a good pop song. Sneaky Sound System have a habit of getting strong  remix support (favourites include Breakbot, Flight Facilities and more recently Oliver), and this release is no different. Azari & III have made an awesome deep, well Azari & III track and Bulgaria's biggest deep/tech house star, KiNK's is just as awesome. Funkagenda's is decent, but decidedly inferior to the other two remixes, so I'll save the space and not post it.

Cut Copy + Azari & III

The first single from Cut Copy's longed album is "Take Me Over", that we posted back in November, revealing some really close influences, even if it's pure Cut Copy magic. It's Cut Copy at their best, a perfect track that makes us want to listen to the whole album right now.

The Tim Goldsworthy remix of it has been around for a while but the Azari & III's is kind of fresh. So fresh that we share it with you. Take us over!

The hyped Canadian house quintet Azari & III (to be read: Azari and Third) in a collaboration with long time hyped Friendly Fires. Not that bad combo. I can understand the hype around Azari & III and their flirt back to the 90s house music. This is not shit at all...

As we all know, Cut Copy is the greatest band in the World (they are by far the artist with the most plays on my Last.fm account). And not only that, they are great remixers. Their way of melting together indie, house, synth and nu disco is probably among the most pleasant experiences you can inflict on the human ear, whether it's their own stuff or their remixes. I've even heard that they are curing hearing impairments in Australia just buy playing Cut Copy to the patients.

We also know that these guys aren't the only ones making awesome music in Australia. On the contrary, you can't throw a rock down there without hitting some awesome electro producer or musician. Someone like, let's say, Joel Dickson, better known as Nile Delta and half of Riot In Belgium. So what if Joel teamed up with a guy like Dan Whitford from Cut Copy? Would that be awesome? You know it!

The duo call themselves Voltage and their first EP, entitled "All Night" is out now on the great label Cutters (home of Knightlife among others). You really should pick it up over at Beatport, or how do remixes from In Flagranti, Ilija Rudman, Munk, Azari & III and Midnight Juggernauts alter ego Turkish Prison sound like? Awesome, huh?
