DeltaScuTi - Sabah

New track from our German friend with that Italian sounding name, DeltaScuTi. And it's a really fine track, it was a while ago we got some new tracks from him and today was a good day to receive a new one.

Sabah, as the new track is named is actually one of thirteen member states of Malaysia. It's located on the northern portion of the island of Borneo. Sabah is often referred to as "The Land Below the Wind", because of its location just south of the typhoon-prone region around the Philippines. But what the heck, take a listen to his new track instead of this geography leason.

The picture is the flag of Sabah if you wonder. And Sabah also mean 'The Morning' in Arabic.

I'm Not a Band - What We Do

I'm Not A Band released a new single today. It's called "What We Do", and what it is we do is liking music. After getting used to the syncopation, which to me sounded awkward at first, I really like this particular piece of music too. The producer Stephan Jung is not someone who just burps up stuff from a set formula. That, and the lovely voice of singer Kassandra, is why we like this duo so much. Of four strong remixes by Whitenoise, rampue, DeltaScuTi and Tits & Clits, I like the latter two the most.

DeltaScuTi

It's time for something completely new, we present to you: DeltaScuTi. The name could sound a little bit Italian but DeltaScuTi is actually from Germany. A Delta Scuti is also from outer space, it's a variable star which exhibits variations in its luminosity due to both radial and non-radial pulsations of the star's surface.

But the human DeltaScuTi could be a star if he continues to make this fine music. Stefan Kreis is the real name of the man behind everything and he loves groovy electronic music and also like the words variations and pulsations. According to himself it's hard to say what kind of music that influenced him, maybe the groovy traditional German brass-music bands?!

DeltaScuTi's release "First Visit In '83" will be out December 13 on Monsieur Adi's label Technofavrik and you can buy it here soon. Until then enjoy the main title of the EP here exclusively along with a remix of Rodion.
