Contrapasso

Contrapasso is the process by which souls serve penance in Dante's Inferno according to the nature of their sins in life. A literal translation would be "counter-suffering", but it's also the name of Gentlemen Thieves new song.

I wrote about this New York based band almost three months ago, you can listen to their other stuff there. Meanwhile listen to this new song together with a new remix for Monsieur Adi and an old, but great remix for Chromeo. EDIT: which apparently wasn't Gentlemen Thieves but another GT alltogether.

Chromeo - Fancy Footwork (GT Remix)

G.O.D.

New York based Gentlemen Thieves has blown me away completely with their relatively new song "G.O.D.". I wasn't really a big fan of their earlier remixes, but I have to capitulate now. They remind me of MSTRKRFT, Justice and Daft Punk. And that can't be too bad, can it?
