Louis La Roche - The Receiver EP

British nu disco/French house veteran Louis La Roche is out with a new ep on Mike Mago's BMKLTSCH label. Cool combo since Louis haven't really dived into the deep or UK house trends that Mago use to release on his label, and this ep is much more nu disco than usual BMKLTSCH releases. The original is a very energetic and catchy house banger, our Swedish broder Blende makes a nu disco funk version while The Young Punx makes a slightly more laidback house track that will blend in with your favourite tropical stuff.
 

Douze

Douze is a 24 year-old French producer who was discovered by French touch maestro Kris Menace. After several collaborations from the pair, including "Scaler" and several other tracks on Menace's "Idiosyncracies" album, Douze has also worked with Alan Braxe and been re-edited by Swedish House Mafioso Steve Angello. His debut solo EP, "Les Paradis Artificiels", was released last year on Discotexas, and last Friday he released his second solo EP with the Portuguese label. "Eternity's Call Back" features two dreamy nu disco originals plus remixes from Blende, Publicist (free download!) and Rhayader. We throw in the great Freak You remix too for good measure. The Electro Wars

I recently heard from a musician that he doesn't believe in music blogs. I was very surprised to hear that, considering there are thousands and thousands of music blogs...and that's just the blogs focused on electronic music. So I think he should reconsider his thoughts about electronic music blogs.

Here is a very cool teaser for "The Electro Wars" a documentary about the electronic music scene. Also take a listen to this track made for the movie by Blende, a Swedish/British electro duo. The track is very retro and dark...or just plain John Carpenter as they describe it themselves. Blende will do the soundtrack to "The Electro Wars".
