Justin Faust just announced the release date of his next single "Sloppy Chic" to be out October 22 on roXour. What you can hear from this 30 sec teaser, is that the tune are going to be something huge. Preorder the release here along with b-side "Your Life" and a remix of Bestrack.
A couple of days ago we also received this new remix of our English fave-girl Florrie. Once again this collaboration flourishes, last time Justin Faust remixed "Panic Attack" with dash and now it's time for "Give Me Your Love" to be as superb.
We've been away the whole weekend to celebrate Midsummer, one of Sweden's most important holidays. In Sweden we celebrate Midsummer different from most people. We're dancing around a maypole, wearing traditional folk costumes, wearing crowns of wild flowers on our head, eating pickled herring with new potatoes and of course drinking a lot of "snaps". It's the Sweden way of fun.
But now we're back and have to make to a little round up from the inbox. Today there will be no words due to the weekend's hangover, but the music is good though.
Our good friend Justin Faust has recently come up with a fresh and awesome remix of British beauty Florrie. Not long ago Justin released the great EP "Holdin' On" and he follows up with this fine remix.
By this time, if you are a follower of Tracasseur, you know that Justin is the pride of Munich in Germany. You also know that he's the successor of Braxe, Falke and Lifelike. That he has been to Sweden several times to dj isn't any secret but that Tracasseur plans to bring him over in a short while, that was news to you...
Florrie is a young girl living in Kent (not to be mistaken that she lives with the Swedish rock/synth band with the same name). In Kent she is hanging out at Xenomania, a production house where she makes her music. And this is a talented girl for sure, not only that she is a guitarist, singer and songwriter, she is also a fantastic drummer (see the video further down).
Fred Falke, the guy with the most posts (14) at Tracasseur haven't been mentioned so much in the beginning of 2010. Only two posts this year, where the last one is posted so far away as nine days regarding the Work it Baby compilation.
But he he has also made some other new remixes lately, so I think it's time to make a post where I also bring along some older remixes that havn't been posted here at Tracasseur yet. That's only because we also write about other artists then master remixer Falke. But you could almost be having a blog only about Fred Falke, because he makes a lot of great remixes at a quick pace of totally different artists, everything from Grizzly Bear to Eric Prydz.
