Poolside rework of Black Sabbath, yeah!

One of the the most legendary bands in the world Black Sabbath now step into another era when Poolside make a rework of "Planet Caravan". Almost everything that Poolside gets in contact with, becomes golden. This version is pure smoothness combined with some psychedelic vibes.

The original tune was included on Black Sabbaths breakthrough album "Paranoid" from 1970. Ozzy Osbourne used a Leslie speaker to achieve the dreamy vocal effects. Enjoy Black Sabbath in a new suit for 2012!

Gigamesh + Goldroom

Life must be grand for Josh Legg. Not only is he head honcho at one of the coolest blogs and labels ('blabels') Binary Entertainment, he lives in the lovely city of Los Angeles, California. Probably in a mansion, where he sits by the pool drinking his breakfast champagne while his pedicurist is massaging his feet. It's probably the same pedicurist as Dennis Quaid uses too.

I don't know these things for a fact though, but what I do know is that, besides releasing and blogging about great music, he makes just as great music himself under the moniker Goldroom. His latest remix of Gigamesh will testify to that.

Poolside, this is brilliant!

Two guys from L.A. have probably made one of this year's best tracks by making a cover of Neil Young's "Harvest Moon". This track, I don't know how to say it, but it's a track that everyone will love instantly after only 20 seconds of listening to the track. Big thanks to Poolside, this is an epic track. Of course Neil Young must be thanked too by making this classic track in the first place. Also big kudos to my dear colleague Linnea at work that showed me the track.

Poolside are the duo that rose earlier this year by having their track "Do You Believe?" in a mixtape by The Magician. Since that the track has been released via Australian label Future Classic. Poolside name their music as Daytime Disco, and it's actually the perfect definition of their nice kind of chillwaved tunes. Perfect at the evening and at night too, and of course in the morning. We'll wait with excitement for the upcoming album, until then:
