Tonight we catch Owl Vision

In Stockholm right now there is this fine festival named Popaganda with a lot of wonderful bands such as Arcade Fire, JJ, Junip, Is Tropical, Midlake, Lykke Li, Serenades and more. And the festival also consists of after partys in different venues around the city, and we're going to catch Owl Vision tonight at Färgfabriken. Owl Vision will bring his deathelectro to Stockholm once again and this time we will be there und tanzen.

Skitsnygg Sunday

In Swedish "skitsnygg" means that you're really good looking. But Skitsnygg isn't from Sweden, Brian Migliore hangs around in Brooklyn right now. He's been living in Stockholm though, back in 2007, so there's a explanation for the Swedish name. If he's good looking? That's up for the girls to decide on...

Anyway, we got his latest remix in our mailbox and we really liked it, so then we had to check out what this guy has been up to before. And we found a lot of nice stuff. Skitsnygg is trying to define his own genre by fusing heavy distorted synths with classic house elements. He started out as a DJ and has played at some of the greatest parties in NY, LA, San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Skitsnygg recently got signed by Sex Cult, a new independent label started by Designer Drugs and the plan is to release his first EP of original material early 2011.
