Owl Vision remix of Ghost

Owl Vision just chatted me up about his new remix of one of his favourite metal bands right now Ghost. He has sampled the song "Monstrance Clock" and made it into something else. I like this newer sound from Owl Vision, still dark but also a bit more bouncier. It comes as a free download and it has a little secret twist in the end.

Preview of the new EP from boerd

Young talent boerd, still under the wings of Owl Vision and his label Comorbid Records, is about to release a new EP "Velocity" August 14. This EP will be his third one and boerd is still experimenting and exploring the sounds of the electronic world with this solo project. boerd is also, as you probably already know if you're a reader of Tracasseur, one part of the successful trio Stay Ali and back in the days he also had another solo project named Multifaros.

Today we are the first blog in the world to give you the premiere teaser preview of "Velocity", hope you dig it as much as I do. I think this is the best boerd release so far gazing back a little towards Multifaros. As I wrote, out August 14 on iTunes, Beatport and Spotify.

Tonight we catch Owl Vision

In Stockholm right now there is this fine festival named Popaganda with a lot of wonderful bands such as Arcade Fire, JJ, Junip, Is Tropical, Midlake, Lykke Li, Serenades and more. And the festival also consists of after partys in different venues around the city, and we're going to catch Owl Vision tonight at Färgfabriken. Owl Vision will bring his deathelectro to Stockholm once again and this time we will be there und tanzen.

To get in the right Owl Vision mood we give you "Deathstar" along with the two remixes by Skitsnygg och Lissi Dancefloor Disaster. Buy the remixes over at Beatport. "Deathstar" is the first track from Owl Vision's upcoming debut album coming later this year.

Adam Tensta remixed by Owl vision again

In the early summer Sweden and Gothenburg's Owl Vision remixed Adam Tensta, the Swede from Stockholm. A nice collaboration that now continues with a second remix. This time it's also official but this time via EMI Music instead of Nike and Let's Mix.

This remix by Owl Vision could be his most "popish" track so far in his career. Still hard and still an Owl Vision track, but I really like the more melodic approach a la Le Matos or Bestrack, heavy and melodic in the same time.

Buy the whole release with all the remixes over at iTunes, one remix by Kleerup btw.

Official music video for Owl Vision

Swedish Owl Vision released this new video yesterday for "Deathstar". The video is produced by the guys from Punx Sthlm, who also are STYGG, an act we posted earlier. The track will be up for sale June 14 on iTunes, Juno and Beatport.

This new track is released via Owl Vision's own new label Comorbid Records, which so far holds himself and boerd (also posted not long ago) from Stay Ali. Keep track of this new label, they have more to come what we heard...

And as it was a time ago we posted stuff from Owl Vision, we must do our job proper by doing so now. Some stuff from the last months, all with free downloads, one oldie in "Dancing" but it was also the first release ever on Comorbid.

Some new fine tracks

Sometimes we just got to make a post with collected tracks from now without writing essays about them. Here are some great tracks from the kind of well-filled inbox that just have to be played!

Robyn needs no more introduction except she's great and so is A-Trak. We played this awesome remix on our two gigs in Spain, people loved it!

Robyn - Indestructible (A-Trak Radio Edit)

Latest track from one of our new favourite Germans of Final DJs is "Nighthawk". Another fine gem!

Final DJs - Nighthawk

Our fine friends of kamp! is remixed by their great Polish countryman Michell Phunk. As it seems we're going for a mini-tour in Poland together with kamp! in late January...more info to come...

kamp! - Distance of the Modern Hearts (Michell Phunk Remix)

Flashworx from the Alps of Switzerland brings this new amazing 80s italo-flavoured remix, perfect for any movie from back then.

Stevans - Morning Daze Of Mad Alien (Flashworx Remix)

And finally some heavier and darker tones from Swedish Owl Vision. It's death electro!

STYGG releases "Envy" today

Today Swedish duo STYGG released the new single "Envy" on Trewetha Records. I had the honour to pre-listen the track a while back and was waiting with eager on this release with the remixes. Because when David of STYGG told me the remix participants I knew this release would be awesome.

Remixes by Tracasseur faves Owl Vision and F.O.O.L, who brings some deathelectro into the track. French FCKN CREW bring in the heavy beat and Unteleported Man and Push Pull turns "Envy" to another kind of track. It's a great hard and punky electro release of STYGG. It's available on iTunes or at Spotify, so buy the release to support the guys of STYGG!

Weekend music from friends

Friday, time to get into the right mode. Therefore I will stop babbling and just give you some great music from some of our fine friends of Tracasseur that we love and support.

First out is our wonderful Torontian girl TEEN with a new nice track of her own.

TEEN - Girls Will Be Girls

Next out is our awesome Aussie guy Beaumont, who recently made a remix of Grum's latest release "Through The Night". Don't miss out on that one and don't miss out on this nice remix of Housse De Racket.

Housse De Racket - Dans l'Avion (Beaumont Remix)

Another friend of ours, from the same country as us but from another city named Gothenburg. We're bit ashamed not having made more posts about Owl Vision. But we promise to post this guy more regularly further on. Get heavier with Owl Vision and Oh Shit!

Oh Shit! - Outside Of Me (Owl Vision Remix)

Our other Swedish friends of PURPL PoP that we've posted and had a remix competition together with, just released their debut single on Fat! Records (Beatport/Juno/iTunes). Remixes come from Foamo who serves up two versions, Utah Jazz, Warrior One, The Living Graham Bond and remix competition winner Shooting Horses. Download this remix from London duo Warrior One and stream the rest of the release here.

PURPL PoP - The Way (Warrior One Remix)

Our Finnish friends Sara and Markku from TV OFF released their debut album "Music Machine" in May, buy it here. They have made a new video to "Boogieman" featured on the album. This remix made by Sharkslayer is a banger. TV OFF also want to give you a previously unreleased track named "Bird". This is actually one of the first songs they ever did. They recorded it at Markku’s house and Sara improvised the melody as she sang it.

Owl Vision

Owl Vision from Gothenburg, Sweden is a dark electronic act in the spirit of bands like Justice and MSTRKRFT. He has done lots of cool remixes and also some unofficial ones of for example Miss Li and Kate Perry. Check out his MySpace and download his EP for free here.

Very soon his collection of older tracks in 320 kbps called "First Blood" (I think Rambo is involved in some way) will hit online stores like Amazon, iTunes, Emusic and so on. Meanwhile listen to these promo tracks in 128 kbps:
