Leno Lovecraft + Yan Wagner

Next Friday in Paris there will be the release party of Leno Lovecraft's upcoming single "Scandalous" at Carmen (34, Rue Duperré, 75009). Leno is on Maman Records, one of the greatest labels in the world we believe. The release also consists the remix of the amazingly talented yet freaky Greatest Hits. But until then we got ourselves something free from Maman Records, the Yan Wagner remix of Leno's "Princess" to share.

Yan Wagner is a young up-and-coming Paris producer moving around in the disco area. So far what I've heard from this guy, it's absolutely love. The remix of Leno's "Princess" is no exception.

Virgin Ears w/ Class Actress (US) and Lune (SE)

We are happy to bring Virgin Ears at Debaser Medis to the people of Stockholm again this Saturday, it's been too many months since the last one. Last time it was Bag Raiders who visited all the way from Australia and now it's time to get a distinguished visit from the US in Class Actress with support by hyped Swedish act Lune. Stockholmers join this night by starting here!

Straight out of Brooklyn, NY comes the electro-pop trio Class Actress with Elizabeth Harper as the front figure. Melancholy with influences from the 80s great acts such as Human League and Depeche Mode. "Playboy Pop" is what they call their music and I can agree on that and I can also agree that it's going to be fantastic to bring them here for premiere on Swedish soil.

And then we have the Swedish phenomenon Lune as the supporting act for the night. A creation of Linnéa Martinsson, who so far is most known for her amazing voice in Adrian Lux' hit "Teenage Crime". But soon there will be a change to that, starting with her release of her first single and signed and remixed by big names within the house scene such as Tiësto and Sebastian Ingrosso. With the signing on Ingrosso's indie label Music Box, she will probably grow bigger very fast, so we're very happy to get her to Virgin Ears before that break. We're also happy that Mr. Ingrosso has promised Lune total artistic freedom.

Besides our fine bookings we will of course brighten up the night with ourselves behind the decks on the big dance floor. Le Petite Putain and Daniel Odelstad will of course also be their as residents they are. An epic night to expect!

Louis La Roche - F.U.B.A.R

Some new Louis La Roche is always nice. If it's free download it's even nicer. "F.U.B.A.R" - fucked up beyond all recognition - is a little funky piece of house.

Plexi Grace

More Swedish music. This time it's the new project by two Johans; Agebjörn (Sally Shapiro) and Emmoth (Le Prix). Together two of Sweden's finest nu italo/disco/synth producers will be making music under the name Plexi Grace. The first release will be the re-release of "Watch The World Go By", which we wrote about back in April. This time it will be released on Fektive Records, and one of the remixes is made by Jam El Mar from Jam & Spoon. As an answer to that, Johan Agebjörn will make a Sally Shapiro remix of the upcoming re-release of Jam & Spoon's classic "Find Me" in early 2012.

Tobtok

Now for some Swedish talent that it's about time we write about. A little over a year ago we were tipped off by friends from Uppsala about the production abilities of young producer Tobtok. Back then he was still in high school and had only been making music for a short while, but you could still hear that he was worth following.

Growing up he listened to all kinds of music; a lot of rock and metal, but also old disco. One of his early childhood idols was Michael Jackson, who still is a big influence. It was around two years ago he started making electronic music for fun, but the past year he's been taking it more seriously. It's also during this time he's been discovering house music in all of its forms. Obviously French house is a favourite sub-genre, but he has a lot up his sleeve, especially considering the little amount of time he's been doing this.

So check out Tobtok, and follow his development through Facebook or Soundcloud.

Pyramid takes on Justice

Our favourite Lyon producer Pyramid has put his teeth into Justice's "Canon" and making it into something totally else than the guitar-techno that Justice goes with these days. This remix is super fresh from the oven, so enjoy this delicacy my friends!
