New single from Young Galaxy

It has been out there for a week but in case you missed it due to that Young Galaxy released their latest album "Ultramarine" not so long ago. It is a new single from them and it will be out digitally tomorrow (August 27) and will be included on the Deluxe Edition of "Ultramarine" that will see the light September 24. The track is produced by Dan Lissvik, as the album also is and as always it will be released on Paper Bag Records.

We have this exclusive remix for you from Sally Shapiro and Young Galaxy. Tomorrow Sally Shapiro and Paper Bag Records will release the remix album "Elsewhere" that is based on the album "Somewhere Else" released earlier this year.

Canadian Young Galaxy that not long ago released their long awaited album "Ultramarine" has put their teeth into Sally Shapiro's "What Can I Do". A sweet tune that we dig!



As a bonus we also want to show you the remix, also included on the album, from Mauvais Cliché. A remix that caught our attention when adding that 90s vibe to Sally Shapiro. Sweet!

Sally Shapiro + Dan Lissvik

Sally Shapiro will release their new album "Elsewhere" May 28 on one of our favourite labels Paper Bag Records. Before the release Dan Lissvik has made his version of "If It Doesn't Rain". You know by now that Dan Lissvik is on of my Gods within music and once again he shows us why.

Third track from Young Galaxy's upcoming album

Young Galaxy's upcoming album "Ultramarine", once again produced by mastermind Dan Lissvik, will see the light April 23. The waiting has been long and we always get happy when they give us some drugs along the way, drugs as in music, drugs as in a new track. "New Summer" is another lovely drug with the dreamy and powerful sound of Young Galaxy and the amazing voice of Catherine McCandless.

First track from Young Galaxy's long awaited album!

"Pretty Boy" is the first track that we can hear from the upcoming album "Ultramarine" out April 23 on Paper Bag Records. It's Young Galaxy's fourth album and for me an album that I long for so much. Lately they've been sending out small teasers by showing the album cover, a short video and so on but now finally, we get the chance to hear a track from the album. Joy!

Once again it's the mastermind of Dan Lissvik, who has produced the album. He was one big reason to why Young Galaxy's last album "Shapeshifting" was such a success and so loved by me. I still hold it as one of the greatest records made in modern times! So I have such great expectations on "Ultramarine" and with "Pretty Boy" I know that I won't be disappointed even if this track not is one of their greatest tracks made.

Two new from Young Galaxy

One of the best record last year was "Shapeshifting" by Young Galaxy and we just got the news that they are here with two new tracks before the release of their forthcoming album. You can get your own limited edition 7" vinyl from Paper Bag Records online store. There are only 300 copies made, so you better hurry.

These two new tracks are recorded live off the floor in the studio and are the first tracks to be recorded with their two new members Andrea Silver and Matthew Shapiro. So the sound is a bit more "rough" than we got used to from "Shapeshifting". The smooth sound from that record was produced by our Swedish maestro Dan Lissvik.

We can also announce that Mr. Lissvik is going to produce the upcoming record as well, oh happy days! We can also tell that Young Galaxy and Lissvik are in Sweden right now as I write this, producing the new album. "Shapeshifting" won the Polar Music Prize and I just hope they will make an even better album!
