Way Out West

British Way Out West are back, and this is their ode to classic analog synths and the beautiful music that’s made with them.

Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren have been working together for 15 years and now they are back with their fourth studio album named "We Love Machine" to be released October 5th on Hope Recordings. It was five years since their last album "Don't Look Now", which was received with mixed feelings.

Now they have moved a clear step ahead from their earlier progressive house, and I really like what I'm hearing. Even the sound from their last EP "Spaceman" released last year is quite different. A more "modern" house sound inspired of the 80's has emerged but of course still very dance-friendly. I think this newer sound is going to set a new era for Way Out West.

The first single to be released is "Only Love" and it features Jonathan Mendelsohn on vocals and some original 80's-era keyboards that sets it off. Note that this single marks their first collaboration with a male vocalist.

These two songs are included on the forthcoming album. Great tunes! Be ready in the beginning of October to grab your copy of "We Love Machine".
