Lifelike - Heatwave (Preview)

Lifelike, who really don't need an introduction, is releasing his next single in February on his own Computer Science label. "Heatwave" is of course based on the classic '83 italo hit "Stop" by B.W.H., and from what you can hear from this preview is that it has undergone a very gentle treatment. You feel like you want to know more about the French master, read our interview with him if you haven't already.

Lifelike - Heatwave (Preview)

I chose to add this video of the original because of the suggestive dancing despite the awful sound quality.

So if you can't wait for the release, here's the original:

Well, you're right. Even if the sounds are updated and the tempo slightly higher, the preview sounds more like an edit than a 'cover'. But on the other hand the preview is less than 2 mins of a track that probably is around 6 mins, so I guess there will be more differences when you hear the whole track.

The preview clip sounds pretty similar but I'm sure the track on the whole would be different.

I'm liking that video a lot.

Tesla Boy already used this track in his mixtape in August 2009: http://valeriejetaime.free.fr/TEMP/VALERIE/MIX/Tesla%20Boy%20Mixtape1%20(dj%20Anto.mp3

Or is it the lifelike version?
