White Lies in Stockholm

The great indie rock band White Lies that I wrote about earlier in May has the fine gesture to visit Berns in Stockholm for a gig tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4th). With the fantastic album "To Lose My Life", that I still believe will be one of the greatest this year, and a lot of fine remixes I envy those who will attend Berns tomorrow. I'm stuck in the middle...

Anyhow, in the last post in May I gave you all of the remixes that were available at that time. Now there are a few new ones that I will present to you. There are two remixes of the single "Death" where Mistabishi's drum'n'bass is not my thing, but I still want to post all of them remixes. I fancy Chase & Status remix more. Finally I finished the last post with the great extra song "Nothing To Give" where I said: "...with no remixes yet..." but now there are, and it's amazing M83 who makes the song more, hmm what can I say, more M83ish!

White Lies - Death (Mistabishi Remix)

White Lies - Death (Chase & Status Remix)

Don't know if it's just me but the intro vocals don't sit well on top of the music from Mistabishi. It could be I'm used to the Chase and Status version which has a much better flow and a feel that better matches the lyrics.

Agreed. The Chase and Status remix is much more organic to the original vocal.
