RAC + Penguin Prison + Cassian + Treasure Fingers + Escort

So, managing to double-post The Magician's (granted, very good) remix of RAC and Penguin Prison's "Hollywood" just days after Jonny posted it, meant a proper bollocking, a demotion and docking of a weeks pay. Ok, not really, but to get back on the horse I'm crossing my fingers and throw up three other very good remixes of the same song by Cassian, Treasure Fingers and Escort.

Avicii & Sebastien Drums + Treasure Fingers

Brooklyn's Treasure Fingers just uploaded this bubbly remix of Avicii & Sebastien Drums' "My Feelings For You", and I like it. Then again, it's hard to fail with such a great original. And by original I mean of course Cassius' 1999 single.

Monarchy debut show in London tonight

Ahhrgh, I wish I was a Londoner right now. Monarchy, one of my favourite bands since they occurred are performing their debut live show in London tonight, and I'm not there. Too bad for me, but for you who are nearby London, you should absolutely get your asses over to Electrowerkz at 7 Torrens Street. You can get your tickets here for only £5.

Monarchy are also the first band ever to broadcast live into space last month from Florida, here are the teaser where they perform "The Phoenix Alive":

We've been following Monarchy since the beginning and been posting a lot of amazing tracks along the way. Not long ago we posted a Holy Ghost! remix of their new single (out July 26) "Love Get Out Of My Way" and now to celebrate their debut gig in London we share some more remixes of "Love Get Out Of My Way". The Treasuse Fingers remix are in a class of its own.

Monarchy - Love Get Out Of My Way (Sinden Remix)

Monarchy - Love Get Out Of My Way (Tim Goldsworthy Dub)

And finally, check out this official video for "Love Get Out Of My Way" and don't forget to pre-order your copy of Monarchy's debut album here that are said to be released in the beginning of August, can't wait...

Beaumont remix of Groove Armada

This guy Beaumont is something extra. From Australia he sends out his remix-love to the world on regular basis so that the world won't break apart. This time he has remixed the classic English duo Groove Armada, who released a great new album this year named "Black Light" inspired more of the 80s than before.

"I Won't Kneel" featuring SaintSaviour was the first single to be released for the album and a couple of remixes has turned up. Beaumont's remix is my absolute favourite even if I gave it my first listen earlier today. He's something of the extraordinary this Beaumont, I told you so.

Groove Armada - I Won't Kneel (Beaumont Remix)

As a bonus, here's the original with two other remixes that also are quite nice.

Groove Armada - I Won't Kneel

Groove Armada - I Won't Kneel (Treasure Fingers Radio Remix)

Groove Armada - I Won't Kneel (Mock & Toof Remix)

Nothing new but all remixes gathered at one place! Miike Snow released their first self-titled album in May and their first single that was released from the album was the great song "Animal" which was released in February. We have posted two of the remixes earlier, the first one in the beginning of March from Treasure Fingers and the second one not that long ago from Fred Falke. But now it's time for all the "Animal" remixes to get along in the same cage!

Sorta Lifelike

Me, Jonny and DW are back from Romania in five pieces (one each). No close encounters with vampires, probably because I spent almost all of last week eating garlic and sharpening wooden sticks.

Meanwhile, several tracks from Paris' Lifelike have been popping up on the blogs recently. First up is more of the Franco-Australian collaborations that have been so successful over the last few years; Lifelike's remix of Aussie rockers Dirty Laundry.

Dirty Laundry - Hate Me (Lifelike Instrumental)

Next up is a remix of Dimitri from Paris from, err, France.

Dimitri From Paris Pres. Electra 80 - Rock This Town (Lifelike Mix)

The remix of Danish disco band Private was posted on Ohh Crapp... today, which means there is a good chance it gets the hype it deserves but didn't quite got when it surfaced a while back. And why not try to add to it?

Private - My Secret Lover (Lifelike Remix)

And here's just some classic Lifelike:

Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor (Lifelike Remix)

Does It Offend You, Yeah? - Epic Last Song (Lifelike Remix)

32Crash - Slowcrash (Lifelike Remix)

Ledge - Icarus (Lifelike Remix)

Lifelike - The Soul Of My Love
