Saitone

First time I heard 8-bit music was about 10 years ago here in Stockholm and it was an amazing experience. Saitone was one of the first creators of 8-bit music in Japan and he was one of the earliest technology enthusiasts to embrace the Game Boy as a musical instrument and is probably the most famous artist in Japan's 8-bit music scene.

Recently he's been using a Game Boy Color during his live shows. His live shows consists of two handheld Game Boys and a Roland mixer. Just watch this cool video below where he does his version of MJ's "Thriller".

He recently released "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" at iTunes Store where you also can buy his album "Overlapping Spiral".
